Enemies
Pursuder
- Harnesses its shadow to attack and parry incoming strikes.
- Four distinct melee combos, all designed to be either dodged or blocked with precise timing.
- Observing its wind-up animations is key to predicting which strike or block it will use next.
Maskerer
- Rains possessed masks from a distance, harassing players with projectiles that briefly linger.
- Occasionally equips a shadow-infused mask for a short-range dash attack.
- Keep moving to avoid mask volleys and be ready to block the dash once the Maskerer closes in.
Possessed Mask
- Summoned by the Maskerer, these flying masks relentlessly chase players at ground level.
- Invulnerable until they begin their biting, swooping attack—only then can they be damaged.
- Dodge their pursuit until they commit to an attack, then strike before they recover.
Shadow Golem
- Appears as an immovable, rocky golem but secretly contains a sentient shadow.
- Normally impervious to damage, only when it releases its shadow “core” can it be harmed.
- If its core connects with a player, it immobilizes them for a devastating follow-up; strike immediately when the core is exposed to interrupt its assault.
